"Bitcoin" is a cataloguing quirk, not an artist: the source spreadsheet lists "Bitcoin" in the artist column for the work "Etherislands". The work actually belongs to EtherIslands (token symbol EID), an anonymous Ethereum collectibles project whose 1/1 island images were, per their on-chain metadata, "created by artificial intelligence", with a planned cap of 199 islands of which 54 were minted. The ERC-721 collection (contract 0xd29c2975fa2769bee254fa6497a97cc39a3b85e8) was created on 22 October 2019 through OpenSea's collection factory by a deployer wallet tagged on Etherscan/Blockscout as "DigitalArtCollective: Deployer", Digital Art Collective being a contemporaneous anonymous marketplace for AI-generated ERC-721 art. EtherIslands was also listed on DappRadar as a decentralized island war game on Ethereum; both etherislands.com and digitalartcollective.com are now defunct (parked domains as of July 2026), and no individual creator has been publicly identified.
