Claire Silver is an anonymous AI-collaborative artist whose practice moves between machine-generated imagery, photography, collage and physical painting. Working with artificial intelligence since 2017, she treats AI as a collaborator rather than simply a tool, using iterative processes that move between analog and digital forms. Her work explores vulnerability, trauma, disability, innocence, mythology and the social implications of an increasingly transhumanist future. Silver's work is held in the permanent collection of the Los Angeles County Museum of Art and has been presented at Sotheby's, Christie's and institutions and festivals internationally.
