Damjanski is a conceptual artist born in Sarajevo, raised in Hamburg, and based in New York, who describes himself as an 'artist living in a browser' and an app sculptor. He is a co-founder of the collective Do Something Good, which in 2018 launched MoMAR, an augmented-reality gallery app that overlays uninvited exhibitions onto MoMA's walls to democratize institutional space. In 2019 he released Bye Bye Camera, an iOS 'camera for the post-human era' that automatically removes every person from the pictures it takes, and his work has been shown at venues including Centre Pompidou, ZKM Karlsruhe, NRW-Forum Dusseldorf, and the Museum of Contemporary Digital Art.
