Hans Brouwer is a Netherlands-based artist, musician, and machine-learning engineer working under the moniker Wavefunk, known for creative applications of deep learning to image, audio, and video synthesis. He studied computer science and artificial intelligence at Delft University of Technology and develops Maua, an open-source deep learning toolkit for creative synthesis begun in 2018. His paper 'Audio-reactive Latent Interpolations with StyleGAN' was accepted with an oral presentation at the 4th Workshop on Machine Learning for Creativity & Design at NeurIPS 2020, and his GAN works have been shown at ECCV 2018 and NeurIPS 2020 workshop exhibitions.
