Jörn Bielewski, also known as Shortcut, is a German artist working across glitch, generative imagery, animation and blockchain-based art. With a background in television and digital image production, his practice explores the points at which technological systems distort, fail or reveal their underlying structures. He encountered blockchain technology in 2014 and began minting work on Ethereum in 2018. His work spans glitch-based processes, GAN-generated imagery, channel-shift manipulation and line-based animation.
