Kevin Abosch (b. 1969) is an Irish conceptual artist whose practice spans photography, installation, sculpture and generative technologies including artificial intelligence and blockchain. His work examines identity, value, truth and the systems through which cultural and economic meaning is produced. Abosch was an early participant in blockchain-based art and has continued to investigate the relationship between human agency, technological systems and networked forms of ownership. His work has been exhibited internationally at institutions including the Hermitage Museum, National Gallery of Ireland, Jeu de Paume, ZKM, Irish Museum of Modern Art and National Museum of China. He lives in Paris and teaches at the University of Applied Arts Vienna.
