Norman Harman is a Scottish artist based in Edinburgh, traditionally trained as a painter at Edinburgh College of Art (1997-2001), where he won the RSA Latimer Award for Painting. He merges painting with digital processes and artificial intelligence, developing a custom algorithm that deliberately corrupts digital files to a trained ideal level, breaking images into a space between abstraction and figuration. He minted his first NFT in 2019 and is known for ongoing series including Android Plaza, The 10th E State and LOWEKCHO; CoinDesk named him its Most Influential Artist of 2022.
