Sarah Meyohas (b. 1991, New York) is a French-American conceptual artist who holds a BS in finance from the Wharton School, a BA in international relations from the University of Pennsylvania, and an MFA from Yale (2015). She came to prominence with Bitchcoin (2015), an artist-issued cryptocurrency backed by her photographic prints, and Cloud of Petals (2017), for which sixteen workers digitised 100,000 rose petals at the former Bell Labs to create a dataset for an AI image-generation system. Her work spans photography, film, virtual reality, performance, and blockchain; in 2023 the Centre Pompidou, Paris acquired her 16mm film Cloud of Petals and Bitchcoin works.
