Sasha Stiles is a first-generation Kalmyk-American poet, language artist and AI researcher working at the intersection of text and technology. Since 2018, she has explored human-machine collaboration through generative literature, blockchain poetics and transmedia practice, examining the role of language, authorship and human voice in an age of artificial intelligence. Her projects include Technelegy (2021), co-authored with a personalized AI-powered text generator, as well as Cursive Binary and Repetae. Her work has been recognized by the Prix Ars Electronica and Lumen Prize and presented internationally at venues including MoMA, the V&A, Kunsthalle Zürich, Lincoln Center and Art Basel. A graduate of Harvard and Oxford, she is also co-founder of theVERSEverse and a longtime poetry mentor to the humanoid android BINA48.
